I just got a tablet... nothing fancy, just the cheapo Bamboo Splash. But a really big upgrade from my 12-year old Graphire. Let's see how it works... gonna do a "drawing a day" thing for three weeks to see if I can get used to it. If not, I am returning it.
That being said, everything I've drawn digitally thus far has been with a mouse. Granted, it's not that much. But only because it's really difficult and frustrating. I have to sketch on paper, scan it in, then do everything else with a mouse... bleh.

Holy smokes.
Thank you to everyone who said nice things! The photos I took recently were completely amateur - taken after a REALLY bad day at work because my pre-hubby wanted to cheer me up. Needless to say, he did. And then the comments cheered me more!
I can't promise much but the positive reinforcement certainly helps.
